Julia is a Research Assistant at The Lab @ DC and a graduate student in George Washington University’s Master of Public Policy program, where she focuses on urban policy. She works on a variety of The Lab’s projects, particularly the 911 Nurse Triage Line randomized control trial. Her research interests include community and economic development, housing policy, and urban planning.
Julia moved to the DC area when she was nine, and is now back home after spending four years in the most beautiful place on earth—Ithaca, New York—where she earned a B.S. in Urban and Regional Studies at Cornell University. When she’s not working at The Lab, she’s running around the city to all kinds of free events, exploring tiny towns, practicing her French by babysitting, or squishing her dog Sawyer’s face.
